SCRIPTURE:

But now, thus say the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine! (Isaiah 43:1 NAS)
OBSERVATION:
God is speaking to Israel. But all of humanity is part of this story. Through the power of God we are all redeemed and we are never alone.
APPLICATION:
Sometimes when the trials and tribulations of life assault us it is tempting to cry out to God with fear. But I need not fear just as Jacob was formed and known in the womb so am I. God has redeemed me.
PRAYER:
Lord I thank you for being part of your great and wonderful creation. Just as you have created all things and care from them you created me and care for me. Thank you for me salvation.

I will give thanks to God for my redemption.

Scripture: But now, this is what the LORD says - He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel, Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by Name; you are mine.
Observation: The Lord's greatness who created family lines, formed great nations, but still knows and calls each one of us by name.
Application: When we stress about life, because we feel we going at it alone, we are reminded that the Lord has told us fear not, I am with you. We have a personal relationship with the Lord, who knows us by name.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for being there for me. Thank you for the things you do to shape our country, our state, our community and our church. Thank you for calling for me to remind me that I am yours.
