SCRIPTURE:

He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me. Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward will receive a prophet’s reward, and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciples, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.” (Matthew 10:40-42 NIV)
OBSERVATION:
From the words of Jesus we are instructed on the blessing of receiving God’s love. This is done by giving in the name of the LORD.
APPLICATION:
Every day there are opportunities to share the blessing of the Lord’s message of love. When we share with action or word we also receive another measure of God’s grace filled love. This can be done at work, school or just teaching about love with our children at the supper table.
PRAYER:
Lord thank you for the gift of your love. Use me to share it where ever I go.
