SCRIPTURE: Psalm 62:5-8
My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my might rock, my refuge. (vs 8).
OBSERVATION:
We are dependent on God for salvation and honor. This can not be done with out God.
APPLICATION:
Though we strive for independence and think we can do so much alone we really need God to get through all things. And it is so amazing that the one who created the universe care enough for me to be my safe haven.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank you for my salvation and the honor of being your child.
YIELDING;
I must yield over confidence in self.

SCRIPTURE;
My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge. (vs 8).
OBSERVATION:
Without God we are nothing.
APPLICATION:
So often we want to do it ourself, when if we would let go and let God, our lives would be so much better. It is awesome to believe that he would be involved in my everyday living.
PRAYER:
Lord thank you for being with me every step of my day, and pulling me out of the messes that I make by doing it myself.
YIELD:
I must yield my belief that I can handle it myself.

Wanda, I love your Observation. It is just so to the point: "without God we are nothing". I often wonder how people who do not know God live their lives.

O: God is where we gain our strength.
A: When I feel powerless I should remember God is always with me and it is from him only that I should gain strength and salvation.
P: Dear God thank you for your presence, power and strength you give my life.
Y: To thinking I am alone.
