SCRIPTURE: Luke 10:25-37
But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “and who is my neighbor” (Vs. 29).
OBSERVATION:
Please read the entire parable of the Good Samaritan. In this parable can read Scripture but cannot “see” his neighbor. He want Jesus to point out the neighbor.
APPLICATION:
Check out what Eric says about this passage on his Christian Marriage and Relationships blog by clicking on his picture. Jesus came to fulfill Scripture; the promise of salvation and the gift of divine presence and guidance all of our days. But this is not just for our personal advantage; we are to share this knowledge with our neighbors; even if we don’t like or can’t see our neighbors.
PRAYER:
Thank you Lord for your love, guidance and direction in my life. Thank you for those who have shared your love with me. Strengthen me, so I may be a good neighbor who share your love and promise.
YIELDING:
A narrow understanding of who my neighbor is.

O: We are human and we need to be told who our neighbor is. We need it in black and white.
A: We need to learn that we should not question who our neighbor is. We should recognize that everyone is even the ones we feel are enemies.
P: Lord help me to love my neighbor as myself.
Y: To my narrow idea of what my neighbor is.
