5/30/09 1 Thessalonians 5:11-21

SCRIPTURE:

Therefore encourage one another, and build up one another, just as you also are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11 NAS)
OBSERVATION:
This is a description of what the members of the body of Christ are to do with each other… encourage each other and build each other up.
APPLICATION:
To encourage one another we need to know what the wants and needs of each other are. This takes communication and acceptance. Listening is key to encouraging others.
PRAYER:
Lord, I give thanks for the ministry you have placed in my heart. Teach me to hear the ministry you have put in other people’s hearts so that I may encourage and support them.
YES:
I will listen to the wants and needs of others.
