Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful. (John 14:25 Holman) OBSERVATION:
This is from the mouth of Jesus. Jesus who is love and peace gives what we can not manufacture; peace and love.
APPLICATION:
Peace and love are hard commodities to come by. We might strive for world peace, family peace or even inner peace. But they won’t come until we know we have God, peace through Christ in our lives. We can not work for it; peace is given. We must accept peace and live.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank you for your peace. Teach me to accept this gift and use it to share it with others.
YES:
I will share God’s peace through Christ in a very world that does not know the peace of Christ.
