Please pick out the verse that speaks to you.
Scripture: Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and clearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put in love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or in deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. - Colossians 3:12-17
Observation: As Christians we have been blessed as His chosen people. Our relationships need to reflect that we are such. In our actions and in our words. Times may get stormy and dark around us, but with the Joy and Thanksgiving that we keep in our hearts, those around will feel the warmth of our love in Jesus Christ.
Application: We need to take time to feel, show and share the love and grace given to us by Jesus Christ to the people we interact with every day.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for the gift of being one of your chosen people. Help me to share the warmth that you have given me in the stormy darkness that surrounds me.
Yes: I will show the love Christ has given me in my relationships.

Verse 13 really spoke to me this morning. "Accepting one another and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the LOrd has forgivein you, so also you must forgive.
This reminds me that sometimes it is diffiult to forgive someone who me thannink may have hurt us. But God gives us opportunities to forgive others as a way to give thanks for our salvation.
My yes for today is I will seek the forgiveness of others while forgiving others.
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and clearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
This is a call God has given us as his chosen people.
We should be willing as children of God to practice these characteristics as a part of who we are.
God, lead me to have a loving and compassionate heart even on days when things don't go well.
I need to yield to my human nature.
