2/21/09 Mark 6: 30-44

SCRIPTURE: Mark 6:30-44
(Please share about the verse(s) which are speaking to you) When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things (Mark 6:34).
OBSERVATION:
The verse is from Mark’s account of the feeding of the 5,000. Jesus has been traveling, demonstrating sign of divine power, and teaching. He must be tired. He saw the lost and wanting multitude and had compassion. Not only does he teach but He feeds.

The teachings of Jesus are at hand and he desires I learn from them. Christ’s love and guidance is for all who feel lost.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank you for your compassion and guidance. May I always know the security of your fold.
YES:
I will seek the security of the Lord’s teaching in my life.
